Volker back on top, secures pole |
Round five saw Ronald Volker back on top with his LRP powered car. The German set the only 16 lap time of the round to secure his pole position for tomorrows A finals. Behind him, it was Marc Rheinard who said his car was better but still not really good enough |
Jilles Groskamp had a solid run to third and Viktor Wilck finished fourth after having to start last due to being late to the grid after his SpeedPower LiPo was over the voltage threshold at the pre-race check |
Yannic Preumper took fifth place, Elliott Harper sixth and Juho Levanen seventh. Thomas Pumpler recorded his second top 10 score with an eighth place, Olivier Bultnyck was ninth and Steven Weiss tenth |
But it has now started raining here in Aniche, so drivers thoughts turn to preparing their wet cars for the final round, either hoping to spring a surprise result or get some testing in before tomorrows finals. The forecast for finals day is uncertain so they want to be prepared |
