Round 3 Results |
Volker again fastest, secures front row start |
Once again, it was German driver Ronald Volker with his LRP powered Yokomo setting the pace. This third TQ run keeps up his run of maximum points and means he is assured of starting on the front row tomorrow. He can only be beaten to the pole position if any driver can TQ the remaining three rounds and set a faster time than the 2007 European Champion has managed so far |
The Tamiya team challenged Ronald in the early stages of the run, but dropped off slightly towards the end. Sweden's Viktor Wilck took second in the round with his SpeedPassion/SpeedPower powered car. He had changed to a smaller wing for this run and also set the fastest single lap time, which he admitted he was surprised about. Also running SpeedPassion/SpeedPower equipment, Elliott Harper was again third. He said now he has three good results he will try a few things in the remaining rounds including switching to the LTC-R bodyshell which teammate Wilck has been using. The top three all managed 16 lap runs for the first time in this event |
