| Few improvements as track heats up |
 As the temperatures continue to rise at the Lino Calella circuit, drivers are struggling to improve their times set in the cooler conditions of this morning or yesterday evening.In fact, the top 10 saw only a few minor changes as the top 8 drivers all failed to improve and so stayed in the same order as after Round 2 |
 Andrea Cristiani did not arrive at the circuit until today, missing all of last weeks practise time. Not getting out in Round 2 either, the Italian driver recorded an impressive run in the hot conditions to move into the 9th place overall.With other drivers failing to improve, Michele Romagnoli drops to 10th place and Michael Salven to 11th. |

| Interestingly, the current top three drivers are all running Nova Rossi engines and the Italian manufacturer would love to take victory in their home country. With Italian drivers dominating the top 10, will one be able to take victory on home soil come the main Final tomorrow afternoon? There's one round of qualifying left to try to move up a few places and into the top 4 for a guarenteed starting position.
