Qualifying report from the 1/8th IC Buggy Euros |
 Qualifying Report.Boots claims TQ with ease. Elliott Boots took his Kyosho to the Top qualifier position at this years EFRA 1/8th IC Buggy Euros with what can only be described a consummate ease. The Englishman was fastest in 3 of the 5 qualifying rounds held over the last 2 days for a perfect score as only a drivers best 3 results count. However Boots was exceptionally quick in all 5 rounds to cement his reputation as a great qualifier but the reigning European champion knows hell face a tougher task in Saturdays 45 minute final where tyre wear and fuel consumption will also play a part. |
 Qualifying in 2nd was another Brit, Darren Bloomfield, the 2012 European champion was 2nd in 3 of the rounds and his consistency handed him the pole in one of the Semi Finals, working all week on set-up for the longer semi, and main final Darren has to have a major chance.3rd qualifier was 2013 and 2014 European Champion David Ronnefalk, the Swede TQd one round of the qualifications but a couple of mistakes on the others prevented him from challenging for pole. 4th was the only other man to TQ one of the rounds Davide Ongaro the junior racer backing up the huge promise he showed at last years event held at his home track the Ongaroring Photo Courtesy of Phil at Neobuggy.net |
