EFRA 1/10th Electric Track EC Qualifying Report

Qualifying Report

Ronald Volker took Pole position for the 1/10th ISTC Modified class with a fast but calculated set of qualifiers here in Slovakia. However with times so close and the competition so strong one minor mistake from Volker could let in his rivals, especially Bruno Coelho who felt particularly aggrieved that bad luck robbed him of the overall TQ, but remains very confident of his actual speed.

In Spec class (10.5 Blinky) Jan Ratheisky was untroubled as he won 3 of the 5 qualifiers to cement Pole position. Fellow X-Ray driver Mike Gosvig lines up second but will no doubt be wondering what to do about the Germans speed.

In the Innagural F1 European championships things were much tighter as Ratheisky failed to live up to his pre-event favourite title, struggling with the handling of his car in the blisteringly hot conditions to only record a 3rd place start. Mike Gosvig and David Ehrbar treated us to a battle royal with Gosvig emerging as our pole winner.
